Is This the Right Plant for You?
The charm of a bouquet, the joy of watching it grow. With small double blooms and delicately layered petals, the Red Rosaline Kalanchoe adds a warm touch to a table, desk, or windowsill. Developed from a species native to Madagascar, Rosalina ‘Don Justino’ was selected for its compact shape and abundant blooms. Beneath its clusters of red flowers, thick, glossy leaves store water—a natural reserve that helps it handle the occasional missed watering. Even after the flowers fade, its lush foliage keeps its appeal. With plenty of bright light and a period of long nights, new buds can emerge, giving you more blooms to look forward to.

Watering
Water moderately when the soil is dry, generally every 10–15 days. Water less frequently in winter and adjust to light levels and temperature.
Care Guide
Place your kalanchoe near a window in a spot with plenty of bright light. A few hours of gentle sunlight are beneficial; avoid intense sunlight through glass in summer. Ideally, keep temperatures between 59 and 77°F (15–25°C). Let the soil dry out between waterings and check the moisture below the surface before watering. If decorative moss is present, remove it first to check the soil and keep the moss dry. Water the soil at the base of the plant with room-temperature water, keeping the flowers dry, and avoid letting water collect at the bottom of the planter. Water less frequently when light levels or temperatures drop. There is no need to mist the foliage. In spring and summer, use a mild fertilizer suitable for succulents, following the recommended dosage. To encourage another round of blooms, provide about six weeks of long nights, with at least 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness each day and no artificial lighting, while maintaining plenty of bright light during the day.
