Privacy Policy
ARTICLE 1 - PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
When you make a purchase from our store, we collect the personal information you provide: your name, your address, your email address and your telephone number.
When you browse our store we also receive, automatically, your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address and its User-Agent, which tells us the browser and operating system you use. To these are added your city-level location, which decides which plants we are able to deliver to you, the products you view and order, and the campaign, referring site or affiliate that a link carries when it brings you here. Every entry that holds any of this is named in the table further down, with what it is for.
Email marketing: with your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. The messages you exchange with us about an order are kept with that order.
ARTICLE 2 - CONSENT
How do you obtain my consent?
When you provide us with your personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, schedule a delivery, or return a purchase, we process it to carry out that order and for nothing else. Anything stored on your device beyond what the site needs in order to work is a separate matter: we ask before storing it, and nothing you are able to refuse is stored until you have answered.
If we ask you to provide your personal information for any other reason, such as marketing purposes, we will ask you directly for your express consent, or we will give you the opportunity to decline.
How do I withdraw my consent?
You can change or withdraw what you allow to be stored on your device at any time, from the “Your privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing takes the same single click as giving it.
If after you have given us your consent, you change your mind and no longer consent to our contacting you, collecting your information, or disclosing it, you may notify us by contacting us at [email protected] or by mail to: Plant Pattern 10 AVENUE WALWEIN, MONTREUIL, 93100, France
ARTICLE 3 - LEGAL DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
This article covers only disclosure we are compelled to make. The third parties who receive your data in the ordinary course of running the store are named in the recipients section further down.
ARTICLE 4 - PUBLISHER, PLATFORM AND HOSTING
This site is published and operated by Plant Pattern SARL, a company with a capital of €4,000, RCS 838 107 548, whose registered office is 10 avenue Walwein, 93100 Montreuil, France. The e-commerce platform it runs on is provided by Leon And George Inc.
Your data is held in that platform's databases, on servers protected by a firewall.
Payment
Your card details are handled by our payment provider, Stripe, under the data security standard established by the payment card industry (PCI-DSS); we never receive them and never store them. Your order records are kept for as long as the order itself, our accounting obligations and the applicable limitation periods require.
All direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements ensure the secure processing of credit card data by our store and its service providers.
ARTICLE 5 - SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES
Every third party this site contacts while you browse is named in the recipients section further down, together with what it is contacted for. Others never touch your browser and receive your data from our own servers instead: the carrier that delivers your order, and our payment provider.
Most of them are established outside the European Union, in the United States. Those that work for us — payment, delivery, hosting, error reporting — use your data only to carry out that work. The advertising and audience partners are not in that position: what reaches them also feeds their own targeting on other sites, which is why they sit behind a consent you can refuse, and withdraw afterwards.
We recommend reading their privacy policies, so that you know how each one handles your personal information.
Links
You may be required to leave our website by clicking on certain links on our site. We assume no responsibility for the privacy practices exercised by these other sites and recommend that you read their privacy policies carefully.
ARTICLE 6 - SECURITY
To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not lost, misappropriated, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed inappropriately.
Card details are entered in a field served by our payment provider, Stripe, and travel to it over TLS; they never reach our own servers and we never store them. While no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKERS
Below is everything that may be stored on your device when you browse this site, and every third party that may receive your IP address. The list is generated from the same source the site itself reads, so it cannot fall out of date.
This is a declaration, not the control. You choose what to allow from the “Your privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page.
Some of these entries are not cookies but browser storage — localStorage and sessionStorage. They sit on your device in the same way, and clearing your cookies does not remove them; your browser's “clear site data” does.
Strictly necessary

ARTICLE 7 - RETENTION POLICY
The retention of data does not exceed the time necessary for the purposes for which they are collected and processed. In addition, the duration of data retention does not exceed that provided for by the Law and the regulations in force.
ARTICLE 8 - CONSENT AGE
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and that you have given us your consent to allow any minor dependent of yours to use this website.
ARTICLE 9 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the website. If we make any changes to the content of this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so you will know what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
If our store is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we can continue to sell you products.
ARTICLE 10 - RIGHT OF ACCESS, RECTIFICATION AND OPPOSITION
The Customer has a right of access to, rectification and erasure of the information concerning him/her, and a right to object to its processing.
He may exercise these rights by contacting Plant Pattern by email or by mail at the addresses listed on the site.
