Native to the high-altitude rainforests of Mexico and Guatemala, Chamaedorea Elegans blends subtly into contemporary settings. This slow-growing palm offers an unobtrusive plant presence, with a maximum height of around one metre indoors. Chamaedorea Elegans' tubular, thornless stems rise to support pinnate foliage. The deep, glossy green leaves create a feathery effect that contrasts elegantly with the yellow blossoms. This colorful spectacle offers a little tropical interlude in its immediate surroundings. Chamaedorea Elegans' ability to adapt to a variety of lighting conditions makes it particularly hardy as a houseplant. Although it prefers light soil and a certain amount of humidity, it is also tolerant of less ideal conditions, making it an attractive choice. This dwarf palm, known for its depolluting properties, contributes to cleaner indoor air. Watering

Approximately 0.5 liter of water once a week in spring and summer, every 10 days to 2 weeks in fall and winter.

Care Guide

When watering your plant, use room-temperature water from which the chlorine has evaporated. Try to keep the potting soil slightly moist, but not too wet. You can remove the decorative moss beforehand to avoid wetting it. Water in 2 sprays, about 10 minutes apart, to ensure the potting soil absorbs the water. Remove any standing water from the bottom of the planter. Spray the foliage regularly to increase humidity. Clean foliage once a month with a soft cloth and diluted black soap to optimize photosynthesis and limit the risk of pests. Rotate the pot a quarter of a circle at this time to promote harmonious growth. Apply suitable fertilizer once or twice a month from March to September.
