Is This the Right Plant for You?

The Norfolk Pine, or by its horticultural name Araucaria Heterophylla, although often associated with the holiday season, is actually a year-round enduring companion. Native to Norfolk Island near Australia, this miniature tree shares a fascinating history. It is one of the rare survivors of a prehistoric era, a living link to the conifer forests of millions of years ago.

What makes the Norfolk Pine particularly appealing for indoor spaces is its adaptability. Unlike its giant forest cousins, this pine is content with limited space and thrives under moderate light conditions. It purifies the air, eliminating toxins and creating a healthier environment for you and your family.

Each Norfolk Pine is a natural work of art, offering a soothing presence and a constant reminder of the beauty of nature.

By welcoming the Norfolk Pine into your home, you embrace a piece of natural history and a symbol of resilience.

Watering

Approximately 0.5 to 0.75 liter of water once to two a week in spring and summer, every 10 days to 2 weeks in fall and winter.

Care Guide

For watering, use room-temperature water from which the chlorine has evaporated. Leave the top of soil to dry out between 2 waterings. Remove decorative moss beforehand to avoid wetting it. Water in 2 times, about 10 minutes apart, to allow the potting mix to absorb the water. If necessary, spray the foliage from time to time to maintain an acceptable level of humidity. Clean the foliage once a month with a soft cloth and diluted black soap. Rotate the pot a quarter of a circle at this time to promote harmonious growth. Apply suitable fertilizer once a month from March to September.
