Watering
Approximately 0.75 à 1 liter of water once a week in summer, every 10 days to 2 weeks in winter.
Care Guide
For watering, use water at room temperature and whose chlorine has evaporated. Let the soil dry between 2 waterings. Remove the decorative moss beforehand to avoid wetting it. Water in 2 times, spaced about 10 minutes apart, so that the soil absorbs the water well. Spray the foliage of your plant regularly to increase the humidity level. Clean the foliage once a month with a soft cloth and diluted black soap. Rotate the pot a quarter circle at this time to promote smooth growth. Apply suitable fertilizer once a month from March to September.

Is the Monstera Deliciosa a Philodendron?
Monstera Deliciosa is often called a False Philodendron. But it's really a Philodendron. Its name is Philodendron Pertusum, also known as split-leaf Philodendron.
How much light does a Monstera need?
Monstera plants, also known as Swiss cheese plants, prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate low light conditions but may grow slower and have fewer leaves in these conditions. In general, it is best to provide Monstera plants with moderate to bright indirect light, such as what they would receive in a room with an east, west, or south-facing window.
It's essential to avoid placing Monstera plants in direct sunlight, as this can cause the leaves to turn yellow or burn. It's also a good idea to rotate the plant occasionally to ensure that all parts receive an equal amount of light.
If you are unsure if your Monstera plant is getting enough light, you can check the leaves for signs of stress. Healthy Monstera leaves should be bright green and perky. If the leaves are yellowing or drooping, this may indicate that the plant is not getting enough light.
How big can a Monstera Deliciosa grow?
The Monstera Deliciosa can grow up to three meters tall indoors.
Is Monstera Deliciosa prone to disease and parasites?
If the air is too dry, red spider mites, mealybugs or thrips may appear. In its natural habitat, this philodendron produces beautiful, large white flowers that give way to a similar fruit called Ceriman. This fruit is edible and delicious. However, it's highly unlikely that you'll see your Monstera flowering at home.
Is Monstera Deliciosa easy to care for?
Monstera Deliciosa is a fairly easy-care, hardy houseplant. Keep watering to a moderate level. You can leave the substrate to dry on the surface between waterings. It will do very well if you forget to water it from time to time. However, it fears sunburn, excess water and dry air. Remember to spray it regularly.

What is the moisture meter and how does it work?
All large and extra large plant sets will include a sleek, innovative moisture meter that will tell you when it’s time to water.
This moisture meter does not require batteries and uses a simple color scale: blue = no need to water, white = time to water. To use, gently insert as deep as possible into your plant’s soil, taking care not to damage any roots. Wait 20-30 minutes to read. If the window is completely white, water your plant as instructed on your care card. If the window is blue, hold off on watering until it turns completely white. Wait a couple of days before watering, the moisture meter should not be constantly bright blue.
After 9 months it will be time to replace the moister meter stick.

Of course, no two plants look the same. Although we do our best to offer you a plant that looks as much as possible as the photos, there will always be variations, which is what makes each plant unique!

We want to ensure that everyone has a successful experience with their plants. Our plants are all easy to care for and come with our care instructions to guide you in their care. Even so, if your plant dies within the first 30 days of receipt, we will replace it!
